Vertical division of the lower face (Sn-Me’). Ratio of 1 : 2 between upper lip (Sn-Stm/Stms) and lower lip/chin (Stm/Stms-Me´) in rest position. – b) Cephalometric vertical division of the face between soft-tissue nasion (N´) and soft-tissue menton (Me’) with reference to the horizontal plane (HP); harmonious 47 : 53% ratio between upper N’-Sn (upper facial height: UFH) and lower facial height Sn-Me’ (lower facial height: LFH). Vertical division of the lower face (SnMe´). Ratio of 1 : 0.9 (53 : 47%) between Sn-Li and Li-Me´.
